Coffelt Reunion

We headed north for the Coffelt Family Reunion which happens every year on the 2nd Sunday of July. It was my Gpa Wes's familys turn to host the event. So decided it would be a great year to head up and see some of my "favorite" relatives! There are well over 200 Coffelt descendants! I remember the Coffelt Reunion very well as a child. A great time to get to play with all of our many cousins we had. Some we saw on a regular basis, but others we only saw once a year. The event used to held at my Gma Mary's park and we would play sand volleyball, swing, play a game of softball and just enjoy the hot July weather....why is it that doesn't sound so fun now that I am a little older?? :) The past several years the reunion has been held at the local American Legion hall. This year their were only around 100 in attendance, but it was good to see some that I hadn't seen in a few years.
Here are Gma Cindy and Ava fixing a cherry pie...with the cherries that we picked from our tree! Ava really loves to cook and Gma Cindy loves the help!
Aunt Va and Uncle Bill had all of us over for pizza on Saturday night before the reunion...I think it was a bribe to get us to help decorate..but give us food and we will work! The pictures below are us waiting for the pizza.
My cousin Blair and his wife-to-be Kristin chatting it up with some family members.
This is not one of the said "favorite" cousins....just kidding JJ!! This is my cousin Jeremy
Here is Lori, Quin, Gma Cindy and Addi hanging out.
Here is Quin getting his diaper changed.
Here are Sadee and Keitha drinking a "pop".
Gentri trying to figure out the video camera.
Sadee, Kiki and my dad waiting for pizza.
This is a picture of all the great grandkids with Gma Mary Coffelt. Our Gpa Wes Coffelt passed on several years ago and would have loved to have seen all these girlees!:) He would have been elated to have had one boy in the group! From left to right: Ava, Gma Mary with Quin, Gentri with Addison, Sadee, Keira, Kylee and last, but certainly not least Bryli.
Gma Mary taking it all in.
Mike listening intently to someone.
Two tired girls on the way home from our busy weekend. Too bad they both feel asleep about 10 minutes from home!

Great pics Mende. We did have a great time, and times like this will not happen as often.
Gma Mary and the great-grandkids pic is terrific. I felt like Ava and Addi looked after the reunion. :)
